WHY DO BIKERS THINK QUAD RIDERS ARE FAILED BIKERS ???

IVE HAD MY BIKE LICENCE FOR 32 YEARS AND HAVE OWNED AND RIDDEN 15 BIKES, MOST OVER 750CC. I REALLY LOVE QUADS, THEY ARE PRACTICAL, FUN, CHALLENGING AND CAN BE USED ON AND OFF ROAD AND IN WINTER.
HOW COME PEOPLE WHO KNOCK THEM, ( AND THIS INCLUDES BIKERS) HAVE NEVER EVER RIDDEN THEM.?
I FIND THE QUAD A REAL CHALLENGE, I OWN A LAVERDA JOTA , A SEVENTIES ,HEAVY ,DIFFICULT BIKE TO RIDE AND THE QUAD IS HARDER TO DEAL WITH THAN THAT. HOW MANY FORUM MEMBERS ARE TWO WHEEL BIKERS ALSO, AND DO YOU EXPERIENCE THE SAME NEGATIVITY TOWARDS THE QUAD. ? ITS HARD GETTING ACCEPTANCE AS A FEMALE RIDER IN A MANS GENRE BUT NOW I HAVE TWO CATEGORIES TO WORM MY WAY INTO WITH DODGY GLANCES OF,,,, ..." SHOULDNT YOU BE DRIVING A NICE LITTLE CORSA???"

you seem to think that you are the only female quad rider this is not ture . ali was our first lady rider on here and i never once thought down on here because she was a women riding a quad .
seems to me that its only you that has a problem with you been a women riding a quad as the rest of us dont care .
all that matters is your a quadder doesnt matter if you are male or female black or white rich or poor everybody is welcome here .even the scotts

To be fair, we ride the quads up to Rykers some Sundays and the bikers there are normally fine and come over for a chat. Mind you, we aren't women on quads, maybe thats the difference

well. I attend lots of bike events, often on the quad and I get lots of interest....or the bike does anyway....but Im always asked why I am not on two wheels or if Im scared????
A sleepover....ooooh, now its been sometime since I had one of those, my Irish pals came over ( 11 blokes ), blimey, never again.............loud, smelly and very drunk...........and no that wasnt me. !!!! T

Good for Ali, actually I have no problem at all, the inference wasnt to being female, but to being a quad rider in a bikers mind, which would seem with some, not all, that quad riders are either not capable, or are safer and happier on four wheels than two.........which may be true......I personally like both, and I dont give two hoots what perceptions of me are to bikers ,or anyone else., That said,... I am interested if other quad riders are frowned upon because they quad rather than ride bikes. ?
I go to a few bikers meetings on my rennie and its a source of interest to some but scowled upon by others, it doesnt and never will deter me from either riding it, participating in biker events or anything else, as for doing that and being female, its ever more interesting and I would have it no other way. Im old enough and broad shouldered enough to just laugh life off, those who take it seriously just add to the amusement factor. Kind Regards Tinker
