  1. Quadzilla XLC 500 UK Road Trip - COMPLETED

    Hi all,

Just completed a 1200 mile road trip on my Quadzilla XLC 500. Started near Newbury then on to Cardiff and the ferry to Dublin. Then up to Belfast and ferry to Aye in Scotland. Up to Edinburgh and across to east coast. Down to Newark and finally hit The Ace Cafe in London. 6 days to complete. The quad performed perfectly with no misfires, oil leaks or breakdowns. My only issue was the on the front brake lever micro switch. I have never cleaned it and it had furred-up so it ...

  3. XLC 500 breather pipe leak

Thought this was just a one off when it leaked the other week but just been out for a blast and the breather pipe on the back of the engine that goes into the air box has spat a load of oil out again and filled the oil trap up. Does anyone know why it does this? My thought is that there could be a blockage somewhere or it's time for and oil change. The oil that came out was quite black. Going on a road trip around the UK next spring so I have to get to the bottom of the problem.
    Thanks guys ...

  4. Re-calibration Quadzilla XLC 500 speedo

    Hi all,

Does anyone know how to recalibrate the speedo on a Quadzilla XLC 500e? Since I have put much smaller wheels on my sat nav says its miles out. Sat nav says 30mph, quad speedo says 37mph. 7mph out at 30 and 9 for 40, 11 for 50 and so on.

I guess this means I am actually doing less overall miles than the speedo says. I have worked it out that I could only be doing 767miles for the 100miles that the speedo says. Wondered why my service was coming around quick. ...

  5. Re-Jet & K&N Filter

    Hi all,
If anyone else out there has a Quadzilla xlc 500, this might interest you if you are looking to up the performance of your quad. I fitted a Scorpion exhaust which sounds great but made the xlc run lean. When and engine runs lean it runs too hot. So to fix the problem I modified the main jet, pilot jet and needle in the carb. Now gets more fuel into the engine and runs richer and cooler. Got in touch with K&N and found an air filter that fits with a small modification to the underside ...
