Default Hi All, oh and help needed (already lol)

    Hi all,

Hoping to become a quad rider (again) as have been in the past - YFM350 then onto a YFZ450 and then onto nothing, which is where I am now!
My 9 year old is now moving from his LT50 to a Yamaha YFA1 Breeze, which is much like my old 350. Brutish looks and good all round build quality!
Little miffed that in the Yamaha section of the forums there isn't anything for the little 125's, as we will need to source advice and help from those in the know many times in the future, as I will also try and help with those that require assistance in my (very small) knowledge base of the ATV's I have owned!

For now though, I need some advice on where to source a good Intake Manifold that links the carb to head of the Breeze. The one fitted was split into two virtually hence why the bike felt so groggy when power was put down. All 124cc's of it!!

If anyone can help, then I will be most grateful!

Thanks and hope to be here often,
    Craig

Fowlers of Bristol is where the parts would have come from to repair my 700, had it not been CAT D'd, the Repair Shop used them. Down your way

Me thats what i thought when i started to look! I will find a service manual for a breeze for work one day!!

Craig, try these guys near you mate

    J and M Turner Ltd,
    Cirencester Road,
    Minchinhampton,
    Gloucestershire,
    GL6 8PE

    Tel: 01453 882009

The YFA1 Breeze is a solid bike. most ATV centres are buying second hand ones to use on their tracks as there is nothing else like them! What year/colour is your one?

My lads is the traditional Black n' White version. Just ordered few bits n bobs of eBay and eBay.com. I have the manual, I bought it about an hour before ordering. If you guys want it drop me a PM and i'll email the link and the login code. But be quick as it expires in 72 hours!

Ta again, will try them Monday Pilchy.

PS, anyone used a stub of silicone hose or forsee any probs doing so? The unit actually looks like two manifold adapters moulded to a short piece of rubber hosing, which has obviously perished over time!

    Thanks.

Mate if you have a copy of it can you email it over to me please!?

The black and whites are ok depending on the year. If they are the latter ones then you might have issues with swinging arm bushes and things wearing at a higher rate due to the change in the production location and a subsequent weaker metal being used. We had one that the steering stem wore and we had loads of play on the bottom of the stem which we couldnt get rid of even with new stems and bushes.....
